⚡ Quick Setup for iOS Safari

  1. Install Stay - Userscript Manager (or Userscripts) from the App Store.
  2. Open Settings → Apps → Safari → Extensions, enable Stay, and set website permissions to Allow.
  3. Tap Install Userscript (sub.user.js) above and confirm installation in Stay.
  4. Open any supported HLS video stream in Safari. The CC · StreamSub pill will automatically attach to the main video player and prefetch subtitles ahead of playback.

💡 Bookmarklet Usage (Chrome / Safari)

  1. Tap Copy Bookmarklet at the top of this page.
  2. Bookmark any page in your mobile browser, edit its name to StreamSub, and paste the copied javascript:... snippet as the URL.
  3. While watching a video, type StreamSub in the address bar and tap the bookmark to inject the live caption engine on demand.
